It started in 2021: icons and mockups for anyone who asked nicely. Then I fell for the unglamorous parts of products. The rules, the edge cases, the forms nobody wants to fill in. Someone has to love them.

Since then I've worked for a bank, a telecom, a betting site, a few government agencies and a couple of startups. I helped build the Bakcell app and the design system under it, drew the flows behind eTopaz without placing a single bet, and now design mygov, where four million people deal with the state. I try to make that part painless.

In 2025 I started Askiva, an AI that runs user interviews for you. I designed it, hired a freelance team and paid for everything myself. It got to 70+ users and a community of 130 researchers. It also got to my savings. Most expensive design course I've ever taken. Also the best one.

My process won't win any awards: talk to people, map the mess, design the simplest thing, test it, repeat. Figma is home. Jitter does the moving parts, Framer does the shipping. Lately Claude Code and Codex build my prototypes, because a working thing ends a meeting faster than a deck. Notion, Obsidian and TickTick hold the rest of my brain.
